Stables
Our 20 stables are all generous sized approximately
14ft x 12ft. While we have a few outdoor stables, the majority are
barn style, all with good ventilation and natural light. These also
have rug rails for drying and airing rugs.
All the stables are power
cleaned and re-painted annually. |

Grazing
The horses at
Southburn enjoy all year turnout. with 30 acres of summer and 12
acres of winter grazing. Mares and geldings
are grazed separately. All the grazing fields have perimeter
electric fencing. |

Hacking
All surrounding roads are unclassified and therefore
very quiet. They provide a variety of circular riding routes from
the farm.
For off road
hacking, we have access to a disused railway line that runs behind
the farm, and at the opposite end of the village, access to over 300
acres of forestry commission land. |

The Yard
We pride ourselves in keeping
a clean, tidy, well maintained yard. We have a secure tack
room and a separate common room with tea and coffee facilities.
There is ample parking for visitors vehicles and permanent parking
for trailers and lorries.
